The procedure

 The correction is usually made with an open tip approach under general anaesthesia.The nasal septum is corrected and lateral osteotomies are done to narrow the nasal bridge.The septal grafts are used to give columellar supports and nasal tip projection.THe results will be obvious by six weeks to six months.
